December Glossy Box!

Sorry! It's been so long and I know I say this at the start of every blog. Camera was broken and I had no money to buy anything all my money in the past months went on presents. Speaking of presents I have asked for some beauty related products so hopefully there will a few blogs being put up over Christmas. 

So a little later than planned by December glossy box. This is my first glossy box and what a way to start off with a shiny red box. This post will be about the first impressions of the products then I will write another post about a review of the products after I have had a good amount of time to try them.

Look Beauty Range

So hey it's been quite a while but life has got in the way of things plus I've had a big exam on Romeo and Juliet which as you can imagine was a awful experience, but on the bright side it's only 14 sleeps will Christmas I really can't wait.

I was walking though Superdrug and I saw the Look Beauty stand, I had seen alot of reviews on blogs and youtube so I decided to pick a few bit up. I only got three things and I will give an honest review.

The Loud Lips Lipstick in Babydoll

 So a good place to start, Babydoll is a nice barbie pink colour and very wearable. I would think it would suite every skin tone. It's very moisturising  and pigmented, it costs £7 so not the cheapest but defiantly not the most expensive. One of the best things about the lipstick is the packaging it is very original which I like because it is a new brand. it is a square shape and magnetic. You don't get that much product for the cost but because it is quite a reasonable price I don't really mind. I would buy this product again.

The lip slick lip gloss in Raspberry Crush

 This is a very unusual colour lip gloss for me to buy because I am not that brave to wear a deep pink lip gloss but I thought I would be abit daring and so glad I did. I love it! It really suites my skin tone and I would say I am quite light but will do some investigating to see what skin tones it does suite. It is £5 and so worth it. It is a deep, hot pink colour. I would buy this again it is very pigmented as well.

Nail pop nail varnish in Bling!

This is one of my favourite nail varnishes ever! It can be used as a top coat or a colour on its own. It is a pink glitter nail polish and glitter polishes are so in at the moment. It is only £5 for 10ml which I think is good quality for the money. As you can imagine it is a massive nightmare to get off :s but I still love it!

What Has Been Happening....

Firstly, I'm sorry I haven't blogged in about a month I didn't really have anything to blog about was one reason but life just seemed to get in the way along with homework and school. I didn't have much time to do anything. 

Next, Christmas is only 33 days away and I can't wait hopefully I will get everything in my list. Leave a comment  for below saying what you want for Christmas.

The Body Shop - Haul/Review

So I have a little tiny haul that I have been trying to post for a while so it's now kind of a review because I have tried all of the products as I said it is a bit on the small side (only three things but enjoy!).

Pink Grapefruit Lip Butter

First Impressions- I picked this up because I needed a new lip balm but there was no lip balms I really liked. To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of lip butters, well the ones I have had past, but I thought I would have little look at them anyway. First I had a little feel of the texture (the testers of course) they felt creamier than lip balm but not as soft as lip butters. Next I smelt them all none of them smelt that original or like something I have not tried before except the pink grapefruit one. I instantly feel in love with the scent and grabbed one straight away.

Thoughts After Using - As winter is coming so it is more important to keep my lips nice and moisturised. I have been using this everyday, overall I am really pleased with the product but it does not smell as strongly as it did when it was new. It has quite a big dip in it. The butter as a nice shine to the lips, it has no tint but has a little bit of flavour. I am someone that will buy every lip balm/butter till I find the perfect one this one is very close to perfect!

Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash 

First Impressions - After Looking up what things are best for spots Tea tree was top of the list (and witch hazel) I went into The Body Shop looking to buy some product from the tea tree range. I had also read on a blog that exfoliators are amazing for unblocking pores and giving the skin a deep clean. I don't generally have blackheads but it was the only exfoliator in the range so I picked it up, plus it smells great, not tested on animals and all natural.

Thought After Using - I have been using this every other day my face feels alot fresher and cleaner. A first it took a while for my to get use to it and found out how much pressure to apply and stuff like that. I do like this product but it's not totally amazing.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

First Impressions- I went in the shop to buy this product and it was the first thing in my basket, because I needed a new toner because mine is running very low, it was in the tea tree range and it smelt great. Again it was natural and not tested on animals. To be honest I have had my eye on this product for a while and have seen lots of good review so I had high hopes.

Thought After Using - I have been using this everyday and the smell lasts for a little while on your skin. I have used quite alot of toners and this is one of the cheapest but best I have tried. 

I would definatly check out the products I have mentioned I would recommend them all.

Fantasy Shopper and The Beauty Closet!

Hey, today I'm going to be talking about a two new websites I have been browsing the last few days!

Fantasy Shopper!

This is the most addictive website ever it's really fun and right up my street. The website is a virtual shopping website, you have to unlock different cities to shop in. Then you create outfits with your clothes and for other people. You collect badges.  Here is the link. Reminds me of an adult version of stardoll. The Beauty Closet!
So a girl I watch on YouTube has just started a website which I have ordered from.Sells really cute jewellery including rings, necklace, earrings and bracelets. Also sells photo frames and little bits for your bedroom. Very shabby chic. Here is the link. Everything comes very nicely packaged in tissue paper and with a little note. Perfect Night In

I ran the bath with the bubble bar. Then applied the face mask and hair mask before getting into the bath. I lit the candle and placed it in the corner of the bath. Put the doughnuts within arm length. Grabbed my book and enjoyed.

I came out of the bath so laid back I was horizontal.

Hair Repair!

Recently my hair has been really dry, weak and damaged due to build up of products and heat damage.I didn't really know what to do I looked over my favourite blogs to see if they had wrote anything there was nothing. I immediately stopped using wax and hairspray. I stopped using heat on my hair so leaving my hair to dry naturally and not curling or straightening my hair. Its was like hair rehab. I started to wash my hair with Herbal Essence Soft and Smooth, every other day which made a big difference. I used a hair mask twice in stead of once a week. I used a serum when i get out of the shower and in the morning on dry hair, Check the serum that it is possible to use on dry hair. I did this for about two weeks my hair felt alot better. I also brushed my hair after the shower as well. Just an update really........

 Bonjour Bloggers!

Hey! It seems a while since I wrote an update post it seems like I have a build up of  little snip its  to tell you. 

1. Firstly sorry I have not been posting I had a big hair products post lined up then my camera needed formatting so all the photos got deleted and I didnt have time to take them all again. So the next day I was planning to do it but then I didn't feel too well so it got back again along with school and homework every bit of time seemed to disappear and the next available bit of time is right now ......
2. Looking at my homework timetable the best days for me to blog are Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday I will be posting minim twice a week. I have loads of cool posts coming up.........
3. The posts coming up are hair repair, make-up rehab, top five hair products, the body shop haul and fashion haul..........

September favourites!

It's time to wake up Greenday becuase September has ended don't be sad here are my faves for this month!

The line up!

 Strawberry peach cobbler - Home baked candle (for.every.body candles)

Now it's colder there is nothing better than a candle to light the room. I'm almost sure that it's an american  does brand. This candle smells amazing not waxy. It does really smell like a freshly baked cobbler or when someone is baking something yummy and the smell drifts into the room you are in. It does smoke quite bad when first lit but after around a minute it's completely fine. 

 Tresemme - touchable finish, ultimate hold hairspray 

I have many reasons to love this hairspray but here are a few - it does not make your hair go rock hard and your hair still has movement. Give your hair a nice sheen. Holds for around 5 hours / I went to a party for about 5 hours and it held perfectly. Easily brushes out.

Available from boots, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco ect.....

 Witch - oil control foaming face wash

My spots have been really bad this month so I have been buying alot of  skincare products. Not all of them made a difference but this did. It significantly reduce the oil on in my T-zone therefore reducing the spots. available from boots, Superdrug and Morrisons (that I know of).

Max factor lip tint-05

Now it's autumn I have been wearing darker colour which can be a bit depressing I know! But i think i have found my new fave lip product. Lip tint don't stain or tattoo your lips and this one doesn't last 24 hours but they do last longer than a normal lip stick. Love this colour sort of a mix between pink and purple but deep and sheer weird but I do really like it.

Avon - blemish clearing peel off mask

As I said I have been having alot of trouble with my spots (mainly my forehead) this month. One of the unusual product I decided to order from Avon was a face mask. Never buying any skin products from and because it was only £2.40 to be honest I didn't have the highest hope but I was desperate so I gave it a try. At first it is really weird because it a purple gel that you paste onto your skin at night wait for it to dry which is like having botox and when you wake up you peel it off. After two days it made a big difference after four days my skin was completely clear i am now using it every other night. My best buy this month.

Sunday Summery!

Slap my wrists and send me to bed I'm really sorry things have so hectic and blogging was put on the back burner to be honest. On the positive side the weather has been amazing and I have been enjoying doing homework in the sun. I am having shopping withdrawals but I have been picnicking with my best friends we took over 1500 photos but I didn't really want to put pictures of my friends on blog just in case they don't want to be shown. At the picnic we played games including racing and piggybacks it might seem childish but picnics are really fun in the sun. They don't really cost much especially  if there are alot of you because you slip up the costs more. We had the picnic on the local park area. We managed to get one direction ticket which is amazing . Britain's next top model final was great congratulations Jade! Plus it's all hotting up on steps the reunion! Please tell everyone about this blog and follow if you like it when I reach 50 followers there will be a giverway!

Sunday Summery!

Sorry for the lack of post recently this week has been abit hectic but I have got a free day today so I am writing as many posts as possible and posting them throughout the week because I hate not posting. Apart from not posting I have had an amazing week. Not to sound like a complete geek but school has been good this week (oh it rhymes!) Then I had a drama lesson on Saturday we are doing a Brothers Grim fairytale for our performance and I can't wait auditions are next week. I went to a party on Saturday night. Please look forward to the next few blog posts they will include hair tutorial and monthly favourites. Plus i have another film recommendation - life as we know it!

Vintage sister lip balms!

This a review of the company Vintage Sister. I have purchased twice from there company and they are very friendly and helpful. I have only purchased lip balm from there company. There lip balms are very moisturising. The flavours i have them in are sugar plum, circus peanut, chocolate mint, black cherry, pumpkin cheesecake, Rudolf's glow and cheers (2011) all the balms are very true there scent and even taste great. They come package in little tins but contain more than a chap stick tube. I prefer tins and pots to tubes. I am in the middle of ordering from this company again. they are great quality and based in america but shipping is really cheap. Lovely packed 100% recommend to order.

 This bag is a nice across the body tan bag not amazing quality and did rip but good for the money! 

Disaster Designs - £56.95

 Love this bag a great everday and big enough for school and as a weekender bag.

 Ditsy Florals are so in at summer time so even though I don't use this all year round it acts as a lovely bag though summer.

Primark - £9

 A primark bargain this vintage inspired satchel is a new purchase is the perfect size for a everyday or a lighter day at school.  

Tesco - £10

 My new school bag it can fit everything inside including a p.e and A4 folders. Plus nice as a weekender.

Newlook- £?????

 A little across the body bag that is perfect to lighten up an autumn outfit. I did buy it awhile ago so its not available anymore.

Not a clue where its from sorry!

A little sparkly clutch goes with any outfit perfect for parties or clubbing.

The Oldies!

Disney land Paris

 I dont use this bag but I would if I could, I got this when I was 5 and there is some graffiti but that just shows designer potential.

New Zealand

I wore this bag out I love it probably because my Nan and Granddad got my this when they went on holiday    to New Zealand. It is a kiwi bird if I could still get away with this look I would.

Sunday Summery!

Sorry that there was no Sunday Summery last week  to be honest I totally forgot. 

So here is my summery of the week.

I went back to school this week it surprisingly ok and kinda better than lounging around the house in my pjs til midday. Summer has come and gone now so its depressing but on the plus side I love knit cardigans and ugg boots. Be expecting a haul because a big shopping trip is well over due. Favourite bag post and Max factor lip tint review as well.

FOTD!

So this is my first face of the day it is really simple everyday look.

Products I used: 17 trio eye shadow,
Lip stick Anew Avon (berrybloom),
17 ultimate curl mascara, lip gloss (marshmellow.)

Swatches of lip stick, eye shadow and lip gloss

Step 1: Use a eye shadow brush and just swirl it over the eye shadow to create a bronze colour and just spread on the lid .

Step 2: Apply mascara the mascara I used gave a curl effect which I personally think is better for the look.

Step 3: Apply the lip stick then blot the lip stick on blotting paper or a tissue.

Step 4: Apply the gloss over the lip gloss the lip stick it lightened the shade and add a nice shimmer.

August Favourites!

So I can't believe that  it is September! I could swear it was only yesterday I was sat by the river with my friends   saying that summer was only just around the corner and now it's over. Just a little disclaimer I am not paid by any companies but review this I have brought all theses product myself and this is my honest opinion. So here are the products I have been loving this August. 

 So the first product is an original source shower gel in the scent golden pineapple. It was an limited edition scent for summer. So when I saw it on the self it seemed a good one to get to brighten up the dull summer day. This is second bottle and has only been used once so it looked better in the photos. Its smell like you have a fresh just peeled pineapple in front of you. It is not an artificial pineapple smell and it has real pineapple in it. A must get (if you like pineapple) and it won't be around for long so hurry! Plus it is a vegan product and the bottle is fully recyclable.

 I am addicted to lip balm and have loads all around the house. It's nice to different flavours but at the end of the day if it doesn't work then it's not much good. Lipsyl balms feel nice on the lip and smell and taste nice they are just supermarket brand. The kept my lips from drying up over the summer and I will continue to wear it everyday.

 This foot lotion is the right lotion for you is you can't be bothered to scrub your feet and do all the other bits. I just put on this lotion twice a week and it make my feet so soft and in summer you wear flip flops and you want your feet to look and feel nice. It doesn't really have a scent just a nice lotion smell.

 I got this perfume for Christmas but never really used it because it is such a nice summer fragrance so a saved it. I put this on nearly everyday  throughout August and some of July. It is quite fruity and very bold so you don't need alot on. It is from Avon £6 but to be honest I like it better than my expensive on.  

 This is my absolute favourite product this month. It is a hair mask so you massage it into your hair wait 5-10 minutes then wash it out and leave your hair to dry. When fully dry you are left with the nicest beach waves and it is effortless. It also leaves your hair so soft. This normally retails at around £4.00 but is offer at the moment in Morrisons for £2.00 so I have topped up on all the different masks so be expecting a review.

He aint nothing but a hound dog!

So can you remember one of my first posts was just a life post and I said I had been to see the last Harry Potter.
I took this picture a couple of days before and forgot to upload it but as I was uploading it. This seemed the perfect time to do my dog post. So lets crack on!!

My doggy is called Elvis and he a miniature cockapoo (funny name I know). It's a cross between a cocker spaniel and a miniature poodle. He has black fur with a white tummy. He is super cute. He loves long walks. I like putting hats on him but we don't dress him up in cloths even though I would love to.So here is the picture.

Sunday Summery!

So this is the second time I have posted twice in one day in a row so I'm on a blogging roll. I probably wouldn't have posted again today but as I wanting to start doing Sunday summerys as I was blogging it make life easier really. So if you don't know what blogging summerys i't just a summery of the day of the week and just telling your blog readers what been happening really and how you feeling. In this post I also going to tell you what coming up on my blog as well. 

Face masks- Been loving face masks at the moment and I like DIY ones as well as one brought from shops this is me with a yoghurt face mask on good for scars and moisturising the skin.

 Posing- I have never put a picture of me on my blog before so I just thought I would show you me really yes I am posing which my mum laughed at me for but never mind.

Bags - I am addicted to bags and i have over 60 bags at the last count I know I must chuck some away but i love them all so much this my latest one. It's just a cheap one from primark but I love the floral and it is quite vintage looking plus the hook closing thing is really easy to open and close.
